Welcome to ASME at the University of Florida

 

ASME UF offers our members a chance to develop both professionally and technically through a numerous amount of events. For professional development we have career showcase events, industry tours, and information sessions. Additionally, we have guest speakers come to our general body meetings and showcase their work experience or research in the mechanical engineering field. For technical development, we have 5 design teams; BioDesign Team, IAM3D, Human Powered Vehicle, Student Design Competition, and VEX Robotics. All of our design teams give members hands on design experience and they all compete across the country against other universities. We also offer technical workshops to help improve Solidworks skills, electrical skills, and more. ASME is also dedicated to helping our members develop valuable connections through socials, our mentorship program, and volunteering events.
